A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Wednesday Workbench 11 May 2022

I've been making steady progress with painting the terrain. Currently on the table are the roof pieces which need metallic details to be painted. I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Over the last few days I've got this lot finished:

I just need to add the acrylic "lamps" to the streetlights.

Once the roof pieces are done, I'll be working on the buildings. I might just get them finished by Friday night, but suspect that Saturday is more likely.

  1. The finished pieces look great Tamsin, and nice progress on the other bits, will you be doing a setup shot once there all done, with all the other bits you've already done ?

  3. That's very cool. Friday or Saturday. I tell you, I am always wrong when I think I'll be done. Most always.

    1. Well...I kind of got distracted so they won't be finished for a day or two more! :)

  4. I always only seem to get about 50% done per session of what I estimate I will do when I originally plan.
What sort of game is all this Sci Fi terrain for Tamsin?

    1. Primarily for Judge Dredd at the moment, but could be for any sci-fi game. :)
