This morning I received a package in the post. As I wasn't expecting anything, I quickly checked for a return address, saw who it was from and realised what it must be.
I was right - it was "Wild Bill Hickock" from PaulS of EndTransmission's Gaming Stuff blog. He'd submitted it in the "Risk Takers, Gamblers and Daredevils" bonus round of this year's Challenge and suspecting that Curt might receive several versions of Mr Hickock he said to would go to me instead to thank me for "minioning" his submissions.
So, I took a few pics before adding him to my growing collection of character figures:
Thanks ever so much Paul - another lovely example of blogger generosity.
About Me
- TamsinP
- London, United Kingdom, United Kingdom
- A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).
Very generous. We all like surprises like that.
