A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

My Word, That's A Big Number!



I woke up this morning to find that a webcrawler had tipped this blog to over 500K page views. So, it's time to say a big thanks to all those folks who read my blog and to the webcrawlers who painstakingly distort our page view stats with their incessant need to index every single page, post and picture on the internet.

I will be announcing my prize draw to celebrate this momentous occasion (and, belatedly, my 4th Blogiversary) at the weekend - that should give me some time to sort out and photograph some prizes.

    Well done! That IS a big number. If every hit is just 30 seconds spent on your site it means you have helped people squander more than 4000 hours or nearly 175 days ;-)
