About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

AHPC9 Day 62 - Wednesday Workbench 20 February

Finished (other than basing) on left; WIP on right

Oh, heck! There are just four weeks left until the end of the Challenge! *whimper*

I'm getting rather annoyed by this virus. I was in full swing yesterday and first thing this morning, then "Ha! You thought I'd gone, didn't you? Here, have a large dose of lethargy and inability to focus.". As a result, I haven't managed to finish painting the third batch of Warlord plastics today. Hopefully I'll be OK tomorrow and can get them finished then.

I'm in a little bit of a quandary about which project to go for when the early war Aussies are out of the way. There are two good sized projects waiting in the wings, and I would like to do both but doubt I'd have time for that. The projects are my 15mm WW2 Soviets and my 28mm Wars of the Roses army. It might be the case that I do some of each over the next four weeks.

  1. You are getting on very well with these despite the virus. Keep up the great work!

  2. 28mm War of the Roses. Then I can drool over your work and be inspired to actually get mine finished.
