About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Finished: 15mm Ming Chinese Heavy Horse Archers Unit #3

I was intending to travel down to Sussex this afternoon, but was feeling shattered so I decided to head down tomorrow morning instead. Which meant I was able to finish this unit off. And that does it for the cavalry (for now at least).

During the longer drying periods, I started work on the next batch - a fourth spear & dao unit.

I should finish painting and varnishing them on Monday and get the basing done on Tuesday night.

  1. Those Horse are splendid, may they roll down your opponent with great panache!

  2. Wonderful work Tamsin. Love the helmets!

  3. A another great unit. Those horses look good I like the colouring on them.

  4. Ooh, I like the horse unit very much.

  5. @ Herkybird - cheers! More likely splat into them like ganache knowing my generalship ;)

    @ Millsy - thanks! :)

    @ Dannoc - cheers! :)

    @ Norm - thanks! :)
