About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Challenge Day 57 - Sunday Morning Update

It's actually just after noon, but what the heck.

You will be pleased to hear that I did manage to finish the Korean commanders in time for submission this week. That was despite deciding not to do any painting on Friday evening.

Curt has posted them, and you can find the entry here.

So, what's on the cards for this week? Well, I've got these chaps out on the table, ready to go:

Yup, the cavalry and commanders for my 6mm Rebs. Only 81 figures this time! I might do a post this evening to show how far I've got with them.

I may do some work on my drunken pirate for the Nautical bonus theme round as well this week.

I've also been prepping some 15mm SciFi - if I've got all my Rebs and Aztecs painted, and my Curtgeld done they might make an appearance near the end of the Challenge.

  1. They look great, Tamsin. The Choson army provides such a cool color contrast with commanders in bright, gaudy colors against the rank and file in black and white attire.
