About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Challenge Day 61 - That Was Quick

In my post yesterday I said I'd ordered a portable spray booth kit that evening. It was delivered this morning. I hadn't even asked (or paid) for express delivery.

Hmmm, no excuse now not to do something with the airbrush I bought back last summer. Apart from not having the Model Air paints I need for the immediate projects I was going to use it for. I'd better order those quick-smart.

This evening I've placed an order with GZG using my discount voucher. The NSL Panzer Grenadiers will be getting some transport, some armoured support and some drones; the Power Armour will be getting some reinforcements in the form of some more heavy support weapon troops and some hover MAWPs (Mobile Autonomous Weapon Platforms).

WotR Archer WIPs

The first unit is finished apart from basing - I did the last little bits this morning.

So, I've started the other two units as a single batch. I've made excellent progress with just the flesh (and flesh wash); leather bits, bows, arrow fletching and final details to do. Sadly, I'm back at work tomorrow, so will only have evenings for painting. Still, I should be able to get them finished over the next two evenings, leaving Friday and Saturday for basing them.
