Post 4 of 4 about Salute 2013
I took 191 pics of the games, which is clearly too much to load as individual pics in a single post. Instead I've included them as a slideshow (I hope it works!).
I will put up one individual pic - of me with Henry Hyde, editor of Miniature Wargames with Battlegames.
Hmmm, that is an absolutely awful pic of me - not a bad one of Henry though!
And a slideshow of the games:
About Me
- TamsinP
- London, United Kingdom, United Kingdom
- A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

I really enjoyed the slide show. Brought back parts of the show very clearly and two games I missed. (Which with my level of organisation was inevitable!) Nice One Tamsin.
ReplyDeleteThanks there Tasmin as i was not able to be there, had to be dragged around Lincoln by wife and the wife's friend, that has given me a flavour of the Show. Is it okay to use the VBCW photo on the VBCW facebook page?
ReplyDeleteGood T-shirt BTW and nice to meet up.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Tamsin!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all those great pics.
ReplyDeleteNice photo report. Very high quality games.
ReplyDeleteCheers Tamsin! - I never get the chance to visit these huge southern shows, so thanks for taking me there! - virtually anyway!
ReplyDeleteGood slide show, really a lot of interesting games going on. I played the Snit's Revenge board game once as a kid so really fun to see that.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for sharing. Amazing range of games, superb quality of figs and presentation. Oh, and it looks like Napoleon himself made an appearance!
ReplyDeleteSome really nice pics Tamsin.
ReplyDeleteThanks for presenting them!
Cheers
Monty
Great slide show, Tamsin. Some splendid photos in there! And a classic Henry Hyde photo to boot!
ReplyDeleteThanks folks! Glad you enjoyed the slide show (and apologies for the poor quality of some pics).
ReplyDelete@ PK - feel free to use them on the VBCW sites. I don't know how easy it is to grab them from the slideshow. If you drop me an email via the Kontactr link on my blog I'll send you the original files.
@ Ashley - I'm a long-time fan of them! It was great to finally meet up.
@ Sydney - indeed it is a classic HH photo. Given how many pics like that he's likely to have posed for, it's probably just as well it was the new MW he was showing off rather than his Compendium! ;)
Thanks there Tamsin I will do that tonight
DeleteFantastic pictures and a great slide show.
ReplyDeleteHey Tamsin, I am the guy who took this photo of you and Henry. I stumbled across your blog whilst looking up Dark Age Warriors. Nice blog and good to meet you in person.

ReplyDeleteHi Kenneth - thanks! How did the pic of you and Henry I took on your camera come out?
