About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Paint Table Saturday 25 July

I decided this morning that it was time to get back to painting, so I started work on these. I've done quite a bit more since taking the photos a few hours ago. If all goes well, I should have the painting finished tomorrow, but probably not the varnishing and basing (I also need to get some flight stands for the grav surfers before they are "finished").

Drunk from TT Combat; rest from Wargames Terrain Workshop

Teddy bears from TT Combat
After these are done, I'll paint up a few more bits of scatter terrain before I begin work on the next two buildings.

My plan is to finish off the Dredd stuff before I begin work on my Romans and Germans for Infamy, Infamy!

  1. Great progress Tamsin, Liking your colour choices, are the teddy bears going to be based on care bears by any chance ?

  2. I think getting a project done before moving on is the best course, or those cruelly impaled teddy-bears would never have seen the light of day!!!

  5. @ Dave stone - cheers! No, not care bears. :)

@ Herkybird - it is a good idea, but sometimes it helps to have a couple of projects available to work on in case a mental break from one is needed. :)

    @ Simon - thanks! :)

    @ Michael A - cheers! :)
