A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Wednesday Workbench 15 July and Lockdown Podcast #16

After finishing the arcade building yesterday, I finally started work on these bits of scatter terrain (you know, the ones I was meant to start last week...). I managed to get all the base colours down and apply the wash before going to bed. However, today I've been feeling a bit lousy, so I've only managed to get the first round of highlighting done. I will probably finish them tomorrow if all goes well.

Madaxeman Lockdown Podcast #16

The 16th episode of the podcast got released into the wild last night. It took a bit longer than usual for this to happen, because Timmy hadn't taken his audio clip files with him on his sojourn to the country pile. Hopefully episode 17 (which we recorded last night) won't suffer such a delay.

  3. I agree with Herkybird you can never have too much scatter terrain especially for skirmish level games. Enjoyed the podcast good to have it playing in the background whilst painting. cheers Greg
