A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

AHPC7 - Challenge Day 30 Cossacks Painted

Phew! I've actually managed to finish painting the Cossacks tonight. They still need varnishing, basing etc, but that's not too much work left to do. It also means that I can move onto a batch of Koreans tomorrow night for the "East" bonus round.

Anyway, a quick pic of them before they're fully finished:

Toodle-oo!

  1. Tamsin, I like you, but sometimes you really make me want to weep. You're so productive, and the end product is very nice! Whilst I haven't touched a brush in months! Oh, the black shame of it all.

  3. I'm glad I don't worry about having to keep pace with you. My painting output is no where to this level of volume or quality consistency.

  4. @ J Womack - thanks! There's no shame in not having painted anything for a while if you've been getting games in :)

    @ Ian - cheers! Insomnia? :)

@ Paul R - thanks! If you think my output is scary, you should see the speed and quality of some of the other folks in the Challenge! :)

  5. When I first saw these images, I thought that the bases were a little strange.....

I now see that you are using lollipop sticks to help with the painting.

    Silly me.

The finished and bases figures look great.
