About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Wednesday Workbench 25 September

I normally do these posts in the evening, but with the Arnhem 75th series I've had to slot it in this morning.

After finishing the Korean rocket artillery, I decided to clear out some other quick wins from the paint queue.

WW2 Aussie Forward Observation team (Warlord) and engineers (Brigade Games).

Papuan porters and riflemen (Brigade Games).

This lot will be given a coat of Klear before adding the base texture. But those steps will have to wait until I've painted these:

Kangaroos (Eureka).

The Kangaroos are going to be slightly whimsical Jump Off Points for my Aussies. I'll be painting them tomorrow.
