About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

AHPC9 Day 89 - Tuesday Update 19 March

It's the penultimate day of the Challenge and we are in the "free fire" period when people can submit posts whenever they want. I've had two entries submitted and posted.

15mm Adolescent Kra'Vak Infantry and Cavalry:

15mm Dismounted Mongol Archers:

The Mongols saw me sail past my increased target. I am now in 4th place with 3376 points. I haven't stopped painting though - there are a few pulp figures on the paint table right now, which should tip me over 3400 points.

  1. Take no prisoners, Tamsin. Your productivity is simply awesome. Have you thought of adding any more British Commonwealth troops to your collection? The plastic sets allow for building nice looking new Zealanders and South Africans.

  3. I hope you keep the quality with the quantity! These look lovely, and no matter what the end result in the challenge, you will have lovely figures to game with!

  4. @ Jerry - thanks and I won't! As my focus is on New Guinea (and maybe Bougainville and Borneo) it's just Australians and Japanese forces I'll be working on. Well, maybe some Americans as well :)

    @ L'Empereur - merci! It is still a Mongol - they are from Donnington/Ancient & Modern :)

@ Herkybird - cheers! Yup, lots of nice toys for playing games with :)

    @ Skully - thanks! :)
