A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Sunday WIP: Eureka Jazz Band

I've finished painting the Named Gangsters, but the weather earlier wasn't conducive to spraying, so they haven't been varnished yet. I'll do that tomorrow and post pics of the finished articles.

As the title of this post suggests, I've begun work on the jazz band, having finally decided on the colour scheme for their uniforms. So here are a couple of WIP pics to keep you going.

I've got tomorrow booked off work, so they should see some good progress. I'll also be doing some more work on the corner store and warehouse.

  7. @ Dannoc - thanks. The "Named Gangsters" are up now

@ Joe - the jackets will be a middling blue-grey. I've used Field Blue as the shade colour.

@ Clint - I don't want any of that scat on my blog if you don't mind! ;)

@ Robert - give me a couple of days and your wish should be granted

    @ Hobbyworker - thanks :)

@ Rodger - the jazz band are definitely swinging.

@ Vince - I did check out the photo booth but haven't bought one yet. I'll wait until I've got my spare room cleared and sorted out as a work/games room.
