About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

AHPC9 Day 69 - Wednesday Workbench 27 February

This pic shows my workbench first thing this morning:

These figures were for my "Fellowship" bonus round entry. I finished them this afternoon and the post has been submitted.

After a bit of a break, I have started work on the rest of the 15mm WW2 Russians:

I should finish painting the "in progress" board tomorrow morning, allowing me to make a good start on the other board, probably finishing them on Friday. That just leaves the infantry support weapons (Maxim guns and mortars) which I'll be doing over the weekend. Monday will see a big basing session and they should be ready to submit on Tuesday.
