A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

AHPC9 Day 52 - Sunday Workbench 10 February

Well...all the Strontium Dog figures are painted & photographed and the post has been submitted for Tuesday. So, no pics of them today; you'll just have to wait until they are up.

The figures currently being painted:

...are tangentially for the Strontium Dog project, but could also be used for historical games. I'm doing them as a separate submission.

You can probably tell that they are Waffen SS. I've just got the Sumpfmuster camo, some details, and highlights to do before they get a black wash, Klear coat, bases painted and matte varnish. Wish me luck with the camo!

I should have them finished today, which will leave me free to work on something else. I'll probably do my submission for the "water feature" bonus round.
