Today saw the entries for the fourth of this year's bonus theme rounds posted. And what a varied bunch they are.

It is recommended that you use the links in the right-hand sidebar to move between posts as Blogger sometimes skips if you hit "newer post" or "older post".
My entry, as you saw in Wednesday's workbench post was a cargo ship:

Things I realised when painting this ship:
1. It would have been best to do the priming and base colours before assembling the ship.
2. Poundshop masking tape isn't just low tack, it's virtually non-existent tack. This caused some problems when I was airbrushing the white stripe on the deck sections (the stripes on the superstructure were hand-painted).
The ship is a 28mm MDF kit from TT Combat. I also painted up some deck equipment (not shown in the pic above) from Pulp Figures.
ps don't forget to vote for all the entries you think deserve a vote.

- A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).
