Hussars Done!

I succeeded in finishing the hussars today. Well, the painting, varnishing and sticking onto bases at any rate. I'll do the basing gunk stuff along with the cuirassiers and commanders when they're all painted.

So, some pics to keep you going:

Tomorrow will be a very early start to get across London for a lift to Leighton Buzzard for a FoGR match. My Koreans are getting a much needed run out over 3 games. It should be interesting as I don't think I've used them for FoGR before. Also because the list I've come up with is a bit bonkers. Or maybe genius. Probably bonkers.

  1. Huzzah! Good luck with the bonkers list

  2. Very nice hussars Tamsin. I've worked on SYW hussars and they are fiddly to the max!
    Good luck with the Koreans.

  3. Every bit as good as I'd expected and then some.

  4. Nicely done Tamsin they look good.
Good luck with the game and your 'inspired' list

  5. They look really good. Well done

  6. Bravo Tamsin a splendid force, now onto bonkers!

  7. Far far more productive than me.
They really do look the business, just right for tearing around the wargames table causing mayhem!

  8. They look really ace, nice colour schemes.

  9. Great looking Hussars, working on some Prussians right now

  10. @ Martin - cheers! And Cheers! :)

@ Peter - thanks! they are rather fiddly to paint - you'll notice I have avoided painting the toothed border on the shabraques :)

    @ Paul O'G - cheers! :)

    @ Millsy - thanks! Glad I didn't disappoint :)

    @ Hobbyworker - cheers! :)

@ Graham C - thanks! The bonkers list turned out to be as bonkers as me! :)

    @ Ray - cheers! :)

    @ Dannoc - thanks! :)

    @ Michael A - cheers m'Lord! Bonkers away! :)

    @ Neil S - thanks! :)

    @ Clint - cheers! I'm sure you'll return to productivity soon :)
As for tearing around the table causing mayhem, they'll be just like their commander! :)

@ Dave D - thanks! The colour schemes are the historical ones :)

@ Ian - cheers! Your Prussians are coming along nicely :)

    @ Francis - thanks big fella! :)

  11. Wonderfull work Tamsin! The bases look a bit crowded with three horses on one base. BUt as you know I know nothing about wargaming!

    1. Thanks Peter! Three cavalry to a (30x30) base is a bit crowded, but that's what the rules I'm using call for :)
