About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Finished: Block Gang for Judge Dredd; Podcast; and Saturday Paint Table 13 June

Blimey, that's a long post title!

Block Gang for Judge Dredd

I finished painting these last night and got them varnished and based today. The full post with more pics is on the Quarantine Challenge blog.

Podcast #12

The latest installment of the Madaxeman podcast is up:

Saturday Paint Table

As my mojo seems to have returned, Ill be working on the rest of the Judge Dredd figures. This afternoon I got the final two figures primed:

Next on the table are these three, ermmm, beauties:

With all that bare flesh on the lady, I'm going to have to do a lot of thin layers to build up the tones. For her bikini top I'm considering making it leopard print - what do you reckon?

Update pic - how I left the Fatties last night:
