A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Paint Table Saturday 04 April

A you can see, the bulk lot of WotR men at arms I was painting are just about done - all that's left to do is the varnishing and basing. After taking these photos I went back to the original two batches and brightened up their metal a bit so that they would match the later batches a bit better.

Tomorrow morning I will be varnishing them, then in the afternoon I will begin the basing process. I'll probably be able to finish them on Monday.

  8. @ Ray - cheers! :)

@ Norm - I'll do my usual - airbrush coat of "Klear" then airbrush with artists matt acrylic varnish. :)

@ Nick - They're actually quite quick to paint now that I have the process down. It helps that I'm not doing much highlighting. :)

@ Herkybird - maybe not the magic formula, but close enough for Government work! :)
