About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Finished: 28mm WotR Spearmen

I was half-expecting not to have these finished today, but they are. These three bases would replace the three Northern Border/Militia billmen from my last post.

There's a full post over on the Quarantine Challenge blog.

Tomorrow will see me start work on the cavalry elements - horses first, then the riders.

  2. Splendid! Thanks to your previous post I was able to listen to yourself & the team at the Madaxeman Podcast today while I was painting - much appreciated as I was not aware of this show before.

  6. Lovely stuff as always, Tamsin. Not a period I've ever painted, but you're definitely getting me interested in doing some as I love the contrast you've achieved between the armour and brightly coloured uniforms.
