About Me

A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

Paint Table Saturday 26 March 2022

I've done a fair bit since Wednesday. All the terrain has been painted; I just need to varnish it, but that will have to wait until tomorrow morning. Looking at the photo, I do seem to have gone a bit OTT with the rusting on the shipping containers, but what the heck?

I'll only be doing the varnishing tomorrow as this weekend Rebellion/2000AD are livestreaming a series of panel discussions to celebrate 45 years of 2000AD, so I'll be watching those in the afternoon.

  1. At least only your containers are rusty! Nice work all round there!

  2. The containers look great Tamsin. As of course do the rest of the terrain pieces.

  3. Great work on all the terrain Tamsin, and with the shipping containers I've worked on in real life, I would say they look spot on !
