Howl's Your Day Been?

Sorry - I couldn't resist the pun :)

I had thought that I would have finished the basing and flocking on Tuesday, but various things got in the way. However, over the past three days I've been doing a little bit here, a little bit there and they are finally finished.

I hadn't noticed while I was prepping them, but there were only three poses (four of each), so I had to do a bit more work in the painting and washes to introduce some variety. They've come out quite nicely.

Some close-ups of a single base:

These figures are 28mm from Blue Moon. They will be joining the Dragon Rampant wolf pack I painted up during this year's Challenge.

  1. Great work on the Wolves Tamsin, I think with how you've based them I hadn't noticed the limited number of poses

  2. Great looking wolves. Basing really helps sell the pack.

  3. I agree they look good, having to buy them by the pack (intended pun!) does necessarily limit the number of poses!

  4. Nice work I thought these were going to be 15mm nor 28mm for some reason. Great job Tamsin!

  5. Paws to think….??.no, I won´t try to be a wag or bark up the wrong tree and come out with a shaggy dog Story or indeed tail. They look really good..they´ll definately ruff someone up…….I´ll get my coat.

  6. Great work Tamsin! Wouldn‘t have realized there are just three different poses. Clever painting and basing I‘d say.

    @ Pancerni - thanks! :)

    @ Herkybird - cheers! :)

@ Simon Q - thanks! These are definitely big 28mm - I should do a size comparison shot with the Warbases & North Star wolves I painted earlier in the year :)

@ Paul - cheers! And thanks for the pawful uns! :)

    @ Ray - thanks! :)

@ Nick - cheers! Variation in the painting and washes combined with how I arranged them on the bases has helped to hide the small number of poses :)

    @ Phil - thanks! :)
