Army Review: 15mm NSL Ground Forces

I know you're all desperately anticipating the posting of my NSL ground forces, but you'll just have to wait...

OK, you won't have to wait. Here they are!

Panzergrenadiers:

Hover bike scouts

Hover MAWPs (Mobile Autonomous Weapon Platforms)

Squad attachments

Squads and squad attachments

Squads, squad attachments and commanders

HAMR specialists and heavy weapon teams

Laser snipers, plasma gunners and missile specialists

Panzergrenadier Vehicles:

Hover drones

APCs

Rear - command APC, cargo carrier, scout tank
Front - light tank, missile APC
Power Armour Squadron:

Heavy weapon specialists

Heavy weapon squads

Squads

Commander and sub-commanders

Panzers!:

Medium tanks/MBTs

SLAM artillery, air defence and missile tanks

Infantry close support tank; armoured cargo carrier, engineering tank

Heavy gun tanks

As I was writing this post, I got to wondering how much this lot weighs, so I put them on the bathroom scales - 12lbs (5.45kg). That's quite a bit of heavy metal!

  1. And I just got my NSL starter pack and extras in, and now there is this impossible painting standard to live up, you think you'd have some pity on these old eyes, but no.....LOL, Well done as always! BTW that's a hell of allot of power armor!

  4. Love your blog - always something new. You have pretty eclectic wargaming tastes. Excellent work on such tiny minis.

  6. @ Don - thanks! There's no need to be intimidated by my painting - the infantry are just blocked and washed. As for the PA - I've actually got some more to finish off the squadron ;)

    @ Robert - cheers! :)

    @ Michael A - thank you m'Lord! :)

@ Clint - cheers! Initially I wasn't sure if the vehicle camo would fit in with the infantry, but it does seem to work :)

@ woolshedwargamer - thanks! I'm not sure if these reviews count as "new" though :)

@ Dannoc - cheers! Glad you like them once again :)

  7. Hey! I recognize some of those minis! You've put together a really nice force there, Tamsin. And the pictures don't do them justice, really. BTW, we got back home last night, safe and sound.
