Eureka 1920s Jazz Band

The moment you've all been waiting for is here. Pics of the finished Jazz Band.

First of all, some shots of the whole band:

And some shots of halves of the band:

These were great fun to paint - I can't wait for the next "special" for this project.

  1. Lovely work as always, Tamsin - now, of course, you'll have to make a 28mm Cotton Club interior set...

  4. Agreed! I like 'em a lot. You wouldn't have Jeeves and Wooster figures waiting in the wings, would you?

    Best Regards,

    Stokes

  5. Lovely work Tamsin. I've been very tempted by this set and I think you've tipped the scales - credit card is out and waving!

  12. They look really nice, particularly like the colour on the cello.

  13. Thank you for all the lovely comments. I'm glad you like this set of cats.

@ Evan - I guess I should do a club-type backdrop for the stage I'll be building for them

@ Dean - Eureka's sculptor gave them their life, I just slapped some paint on :)

@ Stokes - One of the jazz dancers could be a Wooster type I guess. I don't have a Jeeves at the moment though.

@ Curt - are you also tempted by the Bob Murch ones? And the Black Cat ones? Glad to have been of disservice to your credit card balance :)

@ Joe - "We could have been anything that we wanted to be....". I'd need to do up quite a big set for that scene though.

  14. So is Rick's bar in Casablanca your next project... I bet they could do a heck of a Marseillaise :)
