I've got one of those as well, but not much in there is building-size (well, maybe for 6mm if I ever do SF in that scale)

@Seb - GZG building bits would be handy; will probably be getting a load from them, The Scene, Khurasan and Antenocities. Maybe some bits from Ramshackle as wellTamsinPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11759947520907448060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908829430234339181.post-86931318466717978292012-01-21T08:46:28.203+00:002012-01-21T08:46:28.203+00:00I've some bits from gzg for your buildings if ...I've some bits from gzg for your buildings if you want them, plus some vehicules and kravak.
CheersAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11008048607697753233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908829430234339181.post-88202736901319844052012-01-20T09:34:13.829+00:002012-01-20T09:34:13.829+00:00Packaging can actually be your best source for Sci...Packaging can actually be your best source for SciFi buildings. Plastic instant noodle bowls, pasta sauce containers, one-serve heat and eat dessert containers, torch battery packaging, and CD/DVD containers all work well if you either hit 'em with a spray can or cover them with paper mache (for that stucco effect) and then paint.

For spray painting, I use a cardboard box as a spray box. Go outside to bomb the target in the box. Let sit for a couple of minutes, and then you can take the bomb-box inside and leave in a ventilated room to dry.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14192928573798426693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908829430234339181.post-40188106933604863392012-01-20T08:40:48.011+00:002012-01-20T08:40:48.011+00:00Take care when using the padded keyboard thingy as...Take care when using the padded keyboard thingy as a rest when painting. I used one and ended up with tennis elbow :-/ I think they are ok for typing but painting you hold your hands in a different way/angle.
Cheers
PaulPaulĀ“s Bodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07698894821198907112noreply@blogger.com
