About Me
- TamsinP

- A mythical beast - a female wargamer! I got back into wargaming in the summer of 2011 after a very, very long break and haven't looked back since. I must admit that I seem to be more of a painter/collector than a gamer, but do hope to correct that at some point in the near future. My gaming interests span the ages, from the "Biblical" era all the way through to the far future. I enjoy games of all sizes, from a handful of figures up to major battles (see my megalomaniacally sized Choson Korean and Russian Seven Years War armies).

First one who mentions the belly...Gets it!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow long did you have to sit for the sculptor and you were obviously sucking the belly in matey!
DeleteA little birdie told me just how much you weigh Ray. When I saw that number I thought "Jaysus, that man needs to go on a diet!"
DeleteNaw, he doesn't need a diet. He can come to Michigan. I can drag him along on the runs through the woods, show him how to breathe with a plate carrier, and he can do my version of pushups. Just need to redirect the calories taken in! ;)
DeleteHmmm, looks as though Fran gets Ray's belly for being the first one to mention it :D
Delete@David Bromley- Just send Ray my way, I will drop him off at a random corner in Flint, point the direction out of the city and let him run for his life.
DeleteReally a great secret project! Uhm...really is Ray "horned"?...
ReplyDeleteBTW, I unveiled my secret painting project! ;-)

Marzio :-)
Am I the only one in thinking the paint brush flatters ray? ;-)
ReplyDeleteIan
No!
DeleteTakes pounds off him. ;-)
DeleteCheeky gits!
DeleteI think you look fantastic, Ray. Well done Tamsin. I envy you getting to meet those two Boogerbutts in person. Looked like a fun day.
DeleteThats not his dice roll not enough 1's
ReplyDeleteGreat work Tamsin
Peace James
And who said that they had been rolled? ;)
DeleteYou painted this so well and the dio is excellent. And I think everyone else is right, this figure is far too handsome and slim to be Ray:)
ReplyDeleteNicely done! Great diorama!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really fun idea. I wonder if when Ray sleeps he counts sandbags being throw over a fence instead of sheep jumping over the fence?
ReplyDeleteFunny diorama, Tamsin.
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
I really like it Tamsin nice job.
ReplyDeleteThe only change I would have made is that Rays dice rarely roll that high!..... and not a single 1 in sight.
That's the point Clint. By showing anything but a one, RAy will be condemned to roll ones, and aonly ones.
DeleteTamsin, you're so cruel. ;)
Probably the best 'Award' Ray could ever have hoped to get. Excellent work Tamsin...remind me never to get on your bad side!
ReplyDeleteWow, check out that belly! (he says, safely in Australia). Awesome work Tamsin!
ReplyDeleteCracking job Tamsin. Really nice ode de Ray!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea and very very well done! So life like!!!!
ReplyDeleteNicely done, and a nice gesture too.... well done!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious; miniatures painting at it's best.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you all like it. If you only knew how tough it has been keeping it under wraps for so long....
ReplyDeleteNice work Tamsin.
ReplyDeleteGreat send up! I got my laugh for the day!
ReplyDeleteGreat paint job, and a really crazy idea. Great great great....
ReplyDeleteBut I must break a lance for Ray, nobody mentions the time, effort and money such a belly costs. It is hard work I can tell.
love it!
