I've got no idea of the costs but I'd imagine that it probably does work out more expensive when you add in time, but for materials, I'd estimate about 50-60p for a sheet of 120 or so tufts. Plus there's the satisfaction of making your own, the ability to use custom mixes and the thrill of small electric shocks if you get the sieve and the target too close! :)
To make a price comparison, I'd need to do an "industrial scale" batch.

@ Simon J - thanks! I'm sure that over time it will more than pay for itself. Besides it's great to be able to make tufts that look the way I want them to.

@ Paul S - cheers! Once the Challenge is over I might see if any of my clubmates would be interested in buying some, but I don't fancy doing it as a business :)TamsinPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11759947520907448060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908829430234339181.post-36040554483380211322017-01-16T17:23:14.236+00:002017-01-16T17:23:14.236+00:00Those look really impressive. You could also start up your own little side business ;)Endtransmissionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11668764504686502861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908829430234339181.post-1999962939632980502017-01-16T08:37:28.039+00:002017-01-16T08:37:28.039+00:00They look great, the box you bought at Colours cer...They look great, the box you bought at Colours certainly seems to work well. I can see you making your money back on the cost of the box in a very short time.
